The name "Mercurious" was created by our team. Our initial inspiration came from our school's previous teams, whose names were all inspired by the planets in our solar system. We wanted to keep up with the tradition. After choosing a planet, we researched its astrological meaning and found that Mercury was the perfect fit, as cognitive processes, intellect, and communication are vital to our work. However, we wanted a name that was more representative of our specific identity; by blending the planet's name with the adjective "curious," we created "Mercurious."
