Our presentation to middle schoolers today was a blast! We reserved our school's conference hall so we could host a presentation for the 5th–8th grades. After we arrived, we set up our equipment and welcomed the spectators.
First, the two presenters, Ágnes and Sándor-Robert, asked interactive questions about science, technology, and whether the students had heard of CanSat before. After explaining how we have to create a can-sized satellite that goes a kilometer into the air and then comes back down, Sándor-Robert introduced our team, Mercurious, to the children.

As the 100+ curious minds listened, we also gave them some prototype CanSat shells and parachutes to inspect. This allowed them to see for themselves how one of these satellites looks and feels in their hands.
It was such a pleasure to see these young students so interested, especially the 5th and 6th graders. They were completely immersed, answering questions all along, and a few even stayed behind to ask follow-up questions after we finished.

At the very end of the presentation, we even distributed some stickers of our logo along with QR codes for our TikTok and Instagram pages. It was a fantastic day of sharing our passion for engineering!
